this may not be the exact quote from coach Kill but he said something very similar in the past as his mantra.

I am very much a Kill supporter and will remain so for years to come, but I would like to see what he does the rest of the season after saying it's his fault, he's got to coach better and get it corrected. So far these are just words without successful action.

He has said that injuries are no excuse, but this is always prefaced by saying how many injuries have occurred. Injuries are obviously a contributor to our troubles on the field. Call a spade a spade and then continue to work on overcoming them.
