- Still playing in non-conference games that this staff hasn't scheduled, would love to schedule brand name teams to come play at Minnesota. Very open to those possibilities.
- Has nothing but respect for the former coaches that they'll be facing that are now on Colorado's staff
- Have to play incredible defense in order to win in the Big Ten. Wants to have complimentary offense, defense, and special teams.
- MBS has built up a lot of trust, things happen (talking about Saturday's fumble), got 22 yards of YAC on the next play - proud of his response
- Ciarrocca is still learning about his players after being gone for two years. Mentions Brockington's catch as an example of wanting to test him.
- On Preston Jelen TD - special person and football player, selfless player, willing to do whatever it takes, team loves him
- Says they pull things and watch clips from other games and learn from others' mistakes as well as their own during Sunday's team meetings
- Wasn't happy with the lone kick return coverage against Western Illinois, said it was a teachable moment in Sunday's meetings

Football Colorado QB play

Colorado's JT Shrout is one of the worst QB's in college football so far this season. Not as bad as Iowa's Spencer Petras though.

Shrout is 18-of-44 for 208 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. He was 5-of-21 against Air Force for 51 yards and a pick.

Brendon Lewis got the start in Colorado's season opener against TCU, he was 13-of-18 for 78 yards while rushing for 42 yards before getting replaced by Shrout.

Colorado head coach Karl Dorrell said there will be a competition on who gets the start Saturday against Minnesota.

Regardless of who gets the start, I'm not sure if either will provide a significant boost to the Buffaloes' offense. However, Lewis can make plays with his legs, so that is a factor to watch.

Reactions: TNesley

Football Best Gopher "FEEL GOOD" moment, early in this season.

I will man up and say I almost got teary eyed when Preston Jelen scored that TD in the 4th quarter. It was a really nice run and the reaction of the bench to the TD was priceless to me, You could tell he genuinely was grateful for the opportunity to run the ball, even in a blowout. All the captains and RBs on the team congratulated him and I couldnt be more happy for the young man

Is life in America soon to be a thing of the past?

The Intelligence Committee recently held a press conference where it outlined the Bioweapon issues facing the world. From young people giving out their DNA like candy to any outfit that asks for it to genetic engineering with the purpose of creating crop failures and sterilization issues with livestock and humans for that matter. Also a major concern is the inexpensive drones manufactured around the world that are capable of causing widewpread destruction for pennies on the dollar.

All the while the lame stream media is focusing on J6 hearings, lgbtq perceived descrimination, gay rights and abortion along with many other issues that distract from real issues facing not only America but the whole world. I'm sure I've missed some issues but if America does not pull itself together we will not be a able to survive one attack after another. The left itself will not survive the massive changes but they haven't figured that out yet. The theory of 'one world order' with the Bushes, Clintons and others has been whispered about for years and may be more of a reality than many thought.

And of course, the real reason we're all here, college football is being torn apart. Probably not a major issue in terms of world order but it's one of the things I get excited about and look forward to. That is all!
