i posted a few weeks ago about the quality of the 2016 class. Due to injuries even more from this class are playing and playing well. Howard showed his play making ability before being injured. Than Williams showed as much if not more ability this week. Hmielewski received reps this week to show he’s progressing too. Kieft received reps at TE when Lingen went down and seemed to block well. Schlueter started this last game which leaves only Tamarion Johnson (kicked out) and QB Green as the only two not playing. I know there’s been a ton of injuries but I have never seen this before in a recruiting class. If Croft or one of the younger QBs develops we could definitely be a contender sooner than later.
