We play 3 NYC area teams before we enter the Big 10 competition in men's basketball.. LIU Brooklyn is coming up and we played St Johns and NJIT. We will play Rutgers during the Big 10 season as well.. DO you think that is on-purpose or coincidental,in regards to preconference games?? Lots of exposure to people in the NYC area. Maybe some of the fans will tell others in the city how great that Gopher team is now and going to be better... Dupree McBrayer starting this with Isaiah Washington and Jamal Harris on the way.. Will this be a help in recruiting the area, all the more?? Just thought this was interesting for this year.
