David Sisk, I appreciated your AAU wrap up.

I liked the update.. After reading your short synopsis, it sounds like what we want is either Hinton, Hunter, or Zegarowski at the ball handling position....If the Gophers get Hunter to commit, it sounds like he may be good enough to start as a SG, as soon as he gets to campus.. Even though the Gophers would bring him in as a combo. Washington and Hunter would sound like a great backcourt though McBrayer would certainly have something to say about that for Hunter's first year... Of course, it sounds like we are behind Purdue and Butler in his recruitment so this may be more "pie in the sky" thoughts similar to Tre Jones' recruitment. Would have to monitor his minutes as he would be the backup ball handler but if that came to fruition, Minnesota would have a few options at SG off the bench, in that scenario.

Guys on this board know the affinity I have with athletic long guys in that 6-4 to 6-8 range. To me, they have the ability to score over people easier, cause havoc in the passing lanes of the opponent with those long arms, and can do the little things that help teams win with their size. Especially that can play the wing.. TO me, the argument for the last spot going to Nate Hinton is that he is a taller player that offers some position flexibility.. Handles the ball well enough for the PG but groom him for the ability to play the 1 and 2 as well as possibly the 3 in some cases.. Basically do similar things as Dupree McBrayer..... Then get a chance to recruit a more pure PG in 2019

Interested to hear your thoughts on the Lecque kid, if you have seen him play. I have also read what others have said about Zegarowski, but wondering if you have anything you want to add to that. I read your article and saw he had an injury at the tournament.
