For those interested, I have decided to adjust my formula slightly as my offer formula tended to have more 4 stars than Rivals and 247 almost across the board by team. While it didn't matter in the relative team comparison, I still like to generally match the number of 4 stars, etc. I think part of this is due to better reporting of all offers in this day and age. So here is how I rank level of offers this year under the FOR system:
6.0 - 10+ Helmet School offers (no change)
5.9 - 4-9 Helmet School offers (3 was minimum last year)
5.8 - At least one Helmet School and 6+P5 offers or 11+ P5 offers (up one on both options)
5.7 - 6+ P5 offers (5 was minimum last year)
5.6 - 4+ P5 offers (also up one)
5.5 - 1-3 P5 offers or 5+ FBS (up one on the FBS number)
5.4 - 3+ FBS offers
The numbers do not include the school they committed to. Also, in most cases, Juco's get bumped one level due to depressed offers in comparison.
