Alabama helps prove Coach Fleck is absolutely right.....recruiting is everything. (Well, in all honesty, he did say the coaching staff is important, too). But, look at this stat when it comes to results as it relates to recruiting rankings. Out of 5 of the last 6 years, Alabama has had the #1 ranked recruiting class in the nation. Out of 4 of the last 6 years, Alabama has been in the national championship game, winning 3 of them. Coach Fleck says they must have a top 25 recruiting class next year. That is great for the Gophers, but, do you realize how mad Alabama fans or Ohio State fans would be if they finished 25th in the nation in the recruiting rankings? Saban or Meyers may be fired. LOL. Hopefully, next year the Gophers will have a top 25 rated recruiting class....and the following year, a top 15 class and the following year a top 5 class and many more top 5 classes after that.....because you know what happens after that.....the Minnesota Golden Gophers....National Champions. Ya gotta believe....just as Coach Fleck believes.....it can happen.
