A win is a win! Happy homecoming.
A lot of folks seem to be worked up but the reality is that most fanbases are split after a coaching change and we should be very happy with Coach Fleck. He's the sexy hire and most fanbases envy that. Even if you're not bought in...that's fine...but take a balcony view and realize that we don't have it any worse than most.
My friend at Purdue says that half the fanbase is now against Brohm after the Rutgers loss...remember many Gopher fans admired Brohm after our loss.
Michigan's fans are ready to fire Harbaugh...
Rutgers hates Chris Ash...
MSU was questioning Dantonio a year ago...
Indiana fans know their coach is an inexperienced no namer...
Maryland fans are calling for their coordinators to be fired...
Everyone at Nebraska wants Mike Riley out...
Some in Evanston are wary of Fitzgerald and asking why they can't take the next step to being a Stanford program...
Remember how many people thought Ferentz was a dead man walking 3 years ago...
Even the Illinois writer said people are skeptical of Super Bowl champ Lovie Smith after his slow start...
It's not a shitstorm here and don't pretend like it is. The team is contending for a bowl game despite injuries and youth. Recruiting is going well. There seems to be a genuine dedication to serving and giving and we're not in the middle of a sexual assault scandal on the front pages of national newspapers.
Just wanted to point out that this fanbase is no more delusional or negative than others and to stay positive...lots to look forward to and a fun schedule ahead. SUM RTB GG!
