Talked with Alpha this weekend. He is really in the transition stage with everything
School. He just picked a prep school and is now focused on his move to the school and getting started there.
Visits. This isn't something on his mind right now, wants to get settled out east first.
Colleges. His offer list is interesting. It's okay but I'm pretty sure nobody reports them in Denver so what he really has is unclear. For example, a Minnesota and BC offer were listed randomly by a random person and he listed Minnesota as one of five on him the hardest. Does he have a Gopher offer? If he does or doesn't it doesn't matter until he visits. Then you will know if he wants to be here and they want him here.
Minnesota. They are pretty interested I'm told. Alpha seems to fit them well. It's my guess that if they miss out on Ponds and/or Coffey he is a guy they will look to with that spot. And it works perfect for them as he will likely start taking visits around the time they are making a decision.
His game. I watched his team play once each in Vegas and Atlanta (not knowing the Gophs were on him). I think he's a real sleeper and I can see why the high majors listed are on him.
