1.) Really nice to see him get in the Jordan Brand Classic. It's the next best thing to the McDonald's All American game. Many guys play in both. That's a big deal for him. He's earned it, was playing very well before he was hurt late in the year. Played well tonight.
2) Amir scored 28 points tonight and has his team playing in the state tournament next week. Big accomplishment for him. He's taken his team there twice and they went last year too although he was hurt. It will be a chance for Gopher fans to watch him on the big stage again. When he was a sophomore he had a tough time there so he will be motivated to go out on a strong note. And all of you can see him there against the best in state.
3) Looks like Amelia wrote an article during the game about Richard Coffey's feelings towards what is happening. Richard spoke of concern which any parent I think would. That said, based on what I know and what I have known, I have little to no concern about him wanting to go someplace else because of what has happened. Really can't go into detail other than saying despite what was written I still am not concerned about where Amir will be. Very confident he will be here even though this article may make some people concerned.
