I think this needs a new thread.
This is a big recruit for Pitino and I think Minnesota has a better shot than people think. Why?
1.) I never felt the Iowa State lean was as strong as others and with him not making an early spring decision like was planned and is now waiting until the fall, that says to me he isn't sure. No clear favorite.
2.) Minnesota fits his game really well. Really well. And they have been on him for a long time.
3.) His dad is still a guy people love here, Richard is my dad's favorite player outside of the relative.
4.) Amir is not likely to play AAU and if he does it will be minimal. A bunch of new schools aren't likely to come flying in at the last moment without seeing him play.
