Minnesota continues to challenge themselves in their non-conference schedule this season. In addition to road games at NCAA Tournament teams in Providence and Arkansas, Minnesota will travel to the Barclays Center to take on UMASS and Top 25 ranked Alabama. They will host top 25 Miami (FL) at the Barn as part of the Big/ACC Challenge.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports tweeted out today that Minnesota would be hosting the Harvard Crimson as part of their non-conference slate as well. Harvard has brought in four recruits ranked four-stars or higher during the past four recruiting classes and they boast a team that will seriously contend for the Ivy League title. They are led by former four-star recruit Bryce Aiken, who will be a sophomore next year. He averaged 14.5 ppg and 2.8 assists on 39% shooting as a freshman. Harvard went 18-10 (10-4) last season and finished second in the final conference standings. This should be a fairly competitive game.
