Anyone can make a fool out of anyone by pulling past quotes out-of-context. Just so everyone knows.

I just want to make sure everyone is 100% clear on this. And it doesn't matter if you quote 1 or 3 or 20 past quotes, and line them all up. Without the context, no matter clear it looks, it's 100% unreliable.

Let me give you an example to illustrate my point. I could quote Littlefinger from the Inside Gopher Nation board....commenting about someone named Pepper Brooks (whoever the F that is). Just hours after he booted to the Dinkytown board a thread about Gopher opponent Lovie Smith.

And I could quote many irrelevant posts from the main board, and I could quote many relevant posts from the Dinkytown board. If you didn't know the context, it would look ridiculous.

Therefore....re-post the entire thread when debating a past topic.
