Pretty good opening weekend for much of the B1G? Utilizing BTN's world order:

OSU - Volleyed with IU for a while but turned it on when it needed to. Bloomington can be a surprisingly tricky place to play.

PSU - Looked elite. Tough to measure against the Zips.

Wisconsin - Utah St made it interesting and then Bucky rattled off a cool 5 dozen points or so.

Michigan - Took care of a Florida decisively, the Gator's absences noted.

Northwestern - Pat's Cats were in a fight with Nevada all game. Looks like a typical 6-6 - 8-4 NW team.

Nebraska - Tough opener in year 3 for Riley, came down to last play against Arky St out of the Sun Belt.

Iowa - Great defensive effort against the Cowboys. Hawkeyes are consistent, everything looks the same (RBs, LBs, TEs, etc) - just different names, same HC.

Maryland - The Terrapins stole the show with a program win in Austin against the Longhorns. I expect there will be more DJ chatter than PJ chatter, at least for a week.

Michigan St - Dantonio needed a win and got it. Will be interesting to see how they do against WMU next weekend.

IU - New coach, hung with OSU for a bit. Need more data sample.

Gophers - Fleck wins opener, Gophers stay on schedule.

Purdue - Brohm storms the stage with a great opener in close loss to Petrino's squad.

Rutgers - Lots of work to do in Jersey.

Illinois - It's a win, but Lovie has lots of work to do too.
