A friend of mine has a Ruth autographed ball, and I was doing a little research to establish the provenance of the ball (inscription to the "boys home" in Minneapolis) While tracking down Ruth's many stops in Duluth, Minneapolis, Sleepy Eye and his barnstorming days in Iowa, I came across this article from just last year.
