This is from Tuesday:
- The team started out slow against Michigan State. Need to come out of the gates quicker.
- Of the six messages that the team reviewed (one from each game), he thinks the most impactful one is focusing on finishing. We haven't been able to finish.
- Every single game he feels like he's able to play faster. Loves the R position. Being able to focus on the C gap has allowed him to pass rush and focus on his speed.
- Energy has never been an issue for the team. The team starts energetic but sometimes miss out on the details. The HOW has been there but needs to be directed on the details otherwise it's wasted energy. We come out the gates with energy and Coach Fleck obviously does a great job with that.
- He's on a new weight program to get his weight up. He's maintained a weight of 225 since the season started.
- On Fleck asking for patient: It's not tough for him personally because there's no coach he'd rather play for than Fleck. He's seen a lot of change in himself and mind blowing team in many of his teammates.
- Thomas Barber is way more confident now. That allows him to play faster and shoot the gaps better.
