I've mentioned 2017 Mullen (CO) corner Christian Cumber once or twice, but there hasn't been a whole of talk about him. He was at the Junior Elite Camp in mid-July and impressed. The Denver native holds offers from Colorado and Colorado State. He has connections to the area and has been in touch with Sawvel, as this article states. Visiting for the Colorado State game is obviously interesting because that's an away game. I read it as he'll be there as a guest/fan of the Gophers, even though Colorado State is the one to have offered him.
