Spoke with Bailey Edwards, Thomas Barber, Sam Schlueter and Tyler Johnson tonight and all say they spoke with Coach Kill tonight. I'll also be willing to bet that Kill also spoke with Matt Kegel, Carter Coughlin, Sean Foster, JoJo Garcia and Phillip Howard, but they haven't texted back yet.
Edwards: "Coach Kill called me tonight and just told me thanks for coming to the spring game and said if he could take me on their team right now he would, but I have to stay in high school for now. I thought it was all pretty cool he called me the first day and just let me know how much they want me."
Johnson: "Coach Kill called just to see how things were going and what not. Nothing too big. I'll be busy with baseball and basketball for awhile now, so I don't think I'll be visiting anywhere for a bit."
Reminder that coaches get one phone call during this evaluation period, so Kill wanted these guys to know they're all top guys. Recruits can call coaches an unlimited amount of times, but coaches can only call once from today until May 31st.
Also sounds like a majority of Gopher coaches will not be out until Monday, but I've heard Sawvel will be out starting tomorrow in Mississippi.
