University of Minnesota sophomore Amir Coffey (Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) will miss the remainder of the season, head coach Richard Pitino announced Saturday.
Coffey, who suffered a right shoulder injury in early January, will undergo season-ending surgery.
The 6-8 guard has missed a total of 10 games, including the last five. Coffey finishes the season after averaging 14.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 31.6 minutes per game.
