I never thought Coney would get there. I still remember how slow Coney was late in the 4th quarter of the Purdue game when we needed a stop to win the game.
Coney’s run support was a feat a beauty last night. Coney also plays the game with great intelligence. For example, there was a play in the second half when Coney read bubble screen. He crowd the line of scrimmage not allowing blocking to occur down field. Pass was completed but for only a short gain.
