Congratulations to Kobe Bryant for overtaking Michael Jordan for 3rd leading scorer all time, in the NBA. Michael is still BY FAR,(in my opinion) the greatest player to ever play. When you take into account the physicality allowed during Jordan's career that is NOT allowed today, what Jordan did is more impressive. But I still give Kobe great props on a Hall of Fame career.
INTERESTING FACT..... Out of the top 5 scorers all time, ALL THOSE GUYS EXCEPT MICHAEL, ENDED THEIR CAREERS WITH THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS!! Abdul - Jabbar -1st, Karl Malone - 2nd, Kobe - 3rd, and Wilt Chamberlain - 5th. The 6th leading scorer all time, Shaquille O'Neal, also had a great part of his career for the Lakers.. Kinda makes you wonder how Phil Jackson's Lakers teams ever lost with the 2nd(albeit at the end of his career), 3rd, and 6th leading scorers all time, on the Lakers all at the same time.
