Tom Crean was let go today for the Hoosiers.. Unfortunately, I think many, including me, anticipated this would happen.... Indiana has a proud tradition and their fanbase wants the Hoosiers to be a fixture in the NCAAs..
This will be interesting to see who they pick as a replacement... Lots of names floating out there..The cupboard wont be bare for whoever is the coach, that is for sure..Lots of coaches with Indiana roots.. I dont care what the buyout is, I am sure they will do some 'due diligence' to seek the interest of Steve Alford. Maybe seek the interest of Brad Stevens coming back from the NBA. Those may be out, as choices, just because of the money in either case... There will be an NCAA tourney darling that will be mentioned from a smaller school, I am sure. Lots of talent in tow but high expectations, right off the bat.
