Link: Gophers still in the picture for Thomas
Thomas was visited by Sawvel last week and has been on the board for quite some time. Even in July, he said he was hearing from the Gophers almost "everyday." Definitely a target to consistently monitor.
Where does Thomas stand on the board? Sawvel has been pursuing Romeo Finley hard, and Collin Wilder has also told me he's been hearing from Minnesota. The fact that they're also talking to Daniel Thomas quite a bit affirms that they're taking another safety in this class. And with Finley hearing from helmet schools and Wilder wanting to be near home, I'd say Thomas could definitely pick up an offer at some point.
