As far as recruiting goes, Roddy is setting visits up for basketball, and as I've been saying for a while, if he's set on playing quarterback for football, then he's going to have bigger options at the next level for basketball than football. Northwestern was recruiting him harder and earlier than Minnesota, but the Gophers are working to close the gap. Northwestern really fits what David is looking for and last I heard they're the favorite. But with a strong visit and in-home visit, I think it's possible that the lure of staying home will be something he really considers.
