I saw you wrote a piece on Minnesota monitoring Brison Waller from Garfield Heights in the Cleveland area... Waller and Alonzo Gaffney should be good ones and Minnesota is monitoring Gaffney as well, which you said... Gaffney will be recruited by eveyone before its done, IMO... He has range, is long, and very athletic...I would think Ohio State, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisville, and North Carolina will make a lot of trips to Cleveland to see both those guys but especially Gaffney. I heard he may have grown an inch or 2 as well... Waller is more realistic and I think he would be more of the sleeper of the 2(Gaffney and Waller) though everyone knows about him, as well... Their HS coach, Sonny Johnson, has turned out a ton of college players at Garfield Heights in the years he has been there. Sonny was Ohio Mr Basketball when he was in HS.

Sonny has had some guys from his school recently that have made you scratch your heads as to the events surrounding them.. Minnesota was looking at these kids... Willie Jackson ended up transferring out of Missouri with the changes in coaching and now is in Toledo... Willie was a SF.. A SG, Frankie Hughes, kinda had a turbulent recruiting ride as he started with committing to Louisville, backed out of that then signed with Missouri, then like Jackson left with the coaching change and is now at Duquesne in Pittsburgh.. Kinda weird..... Then David Bell, a big who was a signee at Ohio State, ended up transferring to Jacksonville University in Florida where his pregnant girlfriend lives.
Lots of weird circumstances though those issues are pandemic everywhere.. I can assure you these kids(Gaffney and Waller) can play.

NEW NAMES FOR YOU THAT I HOPE MINNESOTA PICKS UP ON AS POSSIBLE FUTURE GOPHERS.

PG MEECHIE JOHNSON, Garfield Heights class of 2021.. I think he will become one of the best guards in Ohio for his class, over time.. Sonny Johnson, Garfield Heights head coach, is Meechie's uncle and his dad, Meechie Sr., is an assistant.. This kid has tremendous skill level and plays up at least 2 levels in AAUs.. Watch that name as I expect high major offers early in his HS years. He is growing up with his cousin, Sonny Jr, who is a 2022 prospect and the son of the head coach at Garfield Heights.

PG ZION HARMON, 2021 from Bowling Green, Ky.....This kid has potential to be one of the better guards to come out of the bluegrass state in awhile... Tremendous skill level and like Meechie Johnson, plays at least 2 or 3 levels higher than his age group..Can easily play with the 17U as an 8th grader. I think you would like him as a player and the Gophers would, though obviously you have 2 storied blue blood teams in the state in Kentucky and Louisville that will be monitoring his progress.
