I would think that a decent 'formula' for success this year for basketball is have Lynch, Murphy, and Curry get 25-30 points a game, combined... The rest of our scoring will be from Nate, Amir, Akeem, and Dupree, for the most part. I hope we can get 45-50 points a night from that group. Then play good defense so we can get wins.. I would think these are averages we will need this year, in conference play.

After those 7 players( yes I know that 2 of those will have to come off the bench so that is part of bench scoring). But last night, I was thinking to myself "Good grief, with Curry struggling and Murphy fouled out, we have all our scoring on the court and nothing on the bench." Gilbert?? Michael Hurt is still getting adjusted.. Bakary?? Maybe Fitzgerald would have provided that.

Do you think we will be ok with that scoring?? Looking forward, I think we will play 8 players most of the year unless Gilbert or Hurt plays much better.. Bakary has had good defensive moments but sets bad screens and isn't an offensive threat at all.. But he will play with the 7 guys above, out of need... Is that enough scoring to be competitive in the Big 10 this year??
