So, there hasn't been a Big Ten mailblog in awhile, but they still have their morning links each day. I've been chagrined to see that there hasn't been a single link or mention of Carter Coughlin's commitment to Minnesota.
Considering some of the tripe that gets linked there, this omission is glaring (for instance, today's links tell us the exciting news that Indiana has agreed to a 3 game series with Ball State. How exciting!)
I've sent a few emails asking them to link an article about Coughlin's commitment (or at least discuss its implications in the next mailblog). So far, my efforts haven't yielded any results.
But if you have a spare 5 minutes at work today, I would encourage you to email them and let them know you wanna see Coughlin's commitment discussed. This doesn't seem important, but perception matters, and Big Ten fans across the country read the Big Ten blog each day (I would bet a lot of recruits do as well).
In my email I also included the Pioneer Press article detailing Coughlin's commitment, complete with good quotes from Coughlin himself about the state of the program, facilities upgrades, etc. I have the article listed below:

Thanks!
Tell them to report on Carter Coughlin
