Add in his toughness, a passion for breaking down film, his leadership and his ability to rack up yards by running, and all the pieces appear to be in place for Leidner and Minnesota to take a step forward.

"Mitch was an extremely accurate long-ball thrower....and his quickness getting the ball out of his hands is 100 percent better than it has been There were some throws with people in his face that he's making now, quick, accurate fly-route throws. He's gotten better."
