Gophers’ Preseason Camp Schedule Announced
University of Minnesota head football coach Jerry Kill has announced that the Gophers will have three practices and one scrimmage open to the public prior to Minnesota starting the season at home against TCU on Sept. 3.

Minnesota Football Fall Camp Media Policies
·All dates, times, locations and policies are subject to change.
·All interview requests must go through the team’s Athletic Communications office.
·All post-practice interview requests (not outlined below) during training camp and the regular season must be submitted to Paul Rovnak (psrovnak@umn.edu) in the team’s Athletic Communications office by 7 a.m. on the day you wish to conduct the interview. Requests for same-day radio call-in interviews must be submitted by this time as well. Late requests may not be granted.
·Media requesting to speak to assistant coaches not listed below and to special teams players should submit those requests by 7 a.m. each day as well.
·Practices are open to the public on Aug. 10, 11, 14 and 15. Practices are open to the media on Aug. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15. All other practices are closed to the public and media.
·On days where the team practices twice, all interviews will be conducted after the second practice.
·All interviews will take place at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex, with the exception of Aug. 15, as that will take place at TCF Bank Stadium. Media will be notified as soon as possible if there is a change in location.
·We ask that the media refrain from reporting on or airing footage of specific plays, formations, personnel groupings, etc. Media are prohibited from using live video streaming applications during practice.
·Media is also asked to refrain from reporting on injuries until Coach Kill has had a chance to address those specific situations.
·Freshman, injured players and players who joined the team after spring practice are not available to the media until they play in a regular-season game.
·The first 20 minutes of practice on Aug 7, 8 and 9 will be open for photographers to shoot. Practices on Aug. 10, 11, 14 and 15 are open to shoot in their entirety.
