During his Sunday morning radio appearance of today, Coach Fleck was asked about offensive line depth concerns. He answered by saying that it will take strong recruiting classes in 2018 and 2019 to get the Gophers where they need to be in this crucial area.
Fleck went on to say that the next two recruiting classes will also be crucial for filling depth concerns among defensive linemen and defensive backs. It sounds as if Fleck and his staff really understand how to balance out recruiting classes and get to rosters that are as deep as possible at every position. This was a real shortcoming with Kill-Claeys, especially over the last two years.
