As a sixty-six year old, I've seen a few things in my lifetime. Something I've witnessed is that great leaders emerge early and associate/align themselves with leaders at least one generation older than they are.
P.J. Fleck reminds me of such a young leader. He seems to have learned a great deal on his own and from mentors. In this regard, he reminds me of Lou Holtz and Urban Meyer. He learns from others and then does things in a creative new way.
Fleck may be the next Tim Brewster, but I doubt it. He'll take Minnesota to a new level and then stay or leave. But I think that their is a 75% chance or better that he will leave the program in a much, much better place than he found it.
