Hi guys and gal,

I will be heading to Hanoi in the next couple of weeks. In that nothing seems to be happening here now in regard to recruiting I thought I would check in. I have had many requests to do so regarding Hanoi and provide an update about what is going on there. Both of them asked about the weather. As Robin Williams said in " Hello Vietnam: Hot, Dammed Hot". But,of course hot is a relative term. In Hanoi 90 degrees can be considered "a cooling afternoon".

But to you Gopher crazies, those of you who suck up any Gopher information you can find I will be reporting from Hanoi. (Crazies are defined as those who pissed-away a beautiful Saturday afternoon yesterday watching the gopher scrimmage.) (Keep in mind that free psychological treatment is available. Mark Dayton says so, and can personally attribute to the benefits of doing so, although it has not seemed to register with him yet..)

But the really important thing I would like to share is that there is now High School football in Hanoi. I have friends there who really know football who have been passing on information. The players are relatively small but extremely quick. There is one that has been consistently running a sub 4.4 forty. Anh Pho Ga. He is relatively small at 5" 10' and 160 pounds. My friends there says he is quicker than anyone they have ever seen. Fast, but incredibility quick and with great hands.

When I get there I will check him out and report back. He is said to be not only a great athlete but has three brothers that some say are more athletic then he. One, Anh Pho Bo, only fourteen is said to consistently run a sub 4.25. I will keep in touch.

Chuck
