Working him at wide receiver and taking reps away from him at QB tells me he may be falling down the QB depth chart. Not withstanding his great speed I am not in the crowd that feels we must get him the ball. We are loaded with better play makers throughout the lineup that need the ball well before him. Unless he is our backup QB and spells Leidner or, god forbid, needs to replace an injured Leidner I don't see him seeing any action. Best course of action is to get him as many reps at QB as possible to prepare him for that and only that contingency. The outlook doesn't look any better next year after Croft's redshirt season.
Poor timing and improved skill players look like they are going to leave him with a less than desirable legacy.
