Her leaving could have a negative impact on athletics...while some may not like either her or Coyle, they were a team that dealt with difficult situations with the Regents and others. Some Regents are changing and likely to be favoring the Academic side, making it harder for Minnesota compete in the new world of collegiate sports IMHO...time will tell, I hope I'm wrong but I've seen it happen before.
