Gas prices

I saw a post on facebook a guy complaining about people being excited about the low gas prices because it's short sighted and we should be concerned about the poor oil field workers that are getting laid off.

My personal view is screw them as I have seen a whole bunch of people making a whole bunch of money and not saving a cent.

Thoughts?
