I don't know anything about music but because I'm becoming a U-Tube addict I'm digging up some great musicians both well known and unknown. The guitarists were the usual list of masters, Hendrix, Clapton, Jimmy Paige but what struck me was a 45 year old duet/duel on a He-Haw rerun or maybe the Glen Campbell Show with Campbell and Clark. Riders of the Storm was originally a Jim Morrison song but he never had those two playing behind him and if he did he'd just have slowed the song down to the point of wasting supreme talent.
I love listening to women singers with powerful voices that most folks won't know. The best finds were Minnesota favorite Brandy Carlile and the stunningly talented and equally beautiful Heather Nova. Nova was from Bermuda and her music never made it in the U.S. She's 50 now and still tours mostly in Europe but in her prime oh my my. Find a live concert from the late 90s (Lorely Festival 1998) for the great Nova.
Any greats or unknown greats that blew you away, with U-Tube all can found and enjoyed.
