On Tuesday night, the University of Minnesota men’s basketball team hosts Nebraska at 8:00 p.m., and will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the opening of Williams Arena as “The Barn Turns 90”.
As part of the festivities, the Gophers will be running special promotions and deals to mark the event:
-Fans age 90 and over will be able to attend the game for just $0.90. Tickets must be purchased at the door, and the promotional price is valid only for the nonagenarian (limit one per guest).
-Special concessions items and pricing is available while supplies last. The first 250 fans in the arena will receive a voucher that enables them to purchase one concession item at the 1928 pricing.
-Free cupcakes will be available to the first 90 fans who purchase any item from the concession stand in section 114 (special coupon not valid).
-“Throwback” audio/video features will be woven throughout the game presentation.

- Throw back jersey rally towel giveaway for University of Minnesota students, sponsored by the Hub Minneapolis.
