Our starters (I'm counting Washington, 6 players) are all so good that obviously there's a big drop-off with the reserves. But this is normal. And injuries always happen; let's be thankful Curry's was pre-season so he doesn't lose a year. Or a few days before the tourney like Springs. Or during the tourney like Eric Harris.
Konate: I've said for over a year....just give me some decent minutes midway through your senior season. And that will be as good as our Final Four frontcourt reserves Winter and Tarver. Konate's rebound rate (for 40 minutes) was 16 vs. Providence and 20 vs. Niagara.
Hurt: Much improved, as everyone has been saying. Smart, intangibles (you listening 55?).
Harris: 50% on three's. That's what he's here for.
Fitzgerald: It's nice that Fitz is the guy who's done the least so far. Because he's the guy we know can do it, from his past track-record. But he's still shooting 50% and grabbing 2.3 boards in 8.0 minutes.
