Of course, I am being facetious.. But his back up is a 6-5 sophomore who has 10 TD passes and over 500 combined yards passing in his first 2 games...McGuire Albert threw 6 TDs in a 41-7 victory over Lexington tonight. And the 3rd string QB for Shelby is a freshman(and brother of Albert) and he is good as well..Lexington was the last serious threat to Shelby before they return their all state QB Brennan Armstrong and their all state 2000 yard in 1 season rusher Shorty Brooks after the 3rd game.

The team they play next week, Willard, is considered by far the weakest team of the first 3 games of the year so its possible for the sophomore to have his averages of the first 2 games, by 3 quarters or even halftime of the 3rd game. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE A 6-5 BACKUP QB WHO THROWS FOR 15 TD passes and 750 YARDS IN 3 GAMES? It could very easily happen. This should be a great reason for Armstrong to keep his act together in his life because any drama isn't needed for this team. They are proving they can live without their star players, at least for now...MINNESOTA NEEDS TO KEEP A KEEN EYE ON THE SOPHOMORE BACKUP QB.

If Armstrong responds correctly, he should be laser focused when he returns to justify getting his job back... It will be interesting to see what happens.
