The Gopher volleyball team is ranked #4 in both the Coach's and Volleytalk polls this week. Next Thursday and Sunday they play #1 Wisconsin on BTN at 7:00 PM. The one thing the Gophers have going for them is Wisconsin will be coming off a Covid delay. I would be very happy with a split, but Wisconsin will be very tough to beat.
Regan Pittman was named the Big Ten defensive player of the week. I hope we have one of our other middle blockers back this week to face the Badgers. We beat Illinois twice last week with only one middle blocker.
