I hope it's ok to put this up here. The football team is going out on a boat from Al and Almas (sp?) at 1 or so then to Wayzata Beach between 3:30 and 4:30 for a boat race. One of the guys helping to set it up, a GLC member, works down the hall from me and is taking some steps to make it special. I think the whole team might be showing up. The city is working to make it special with banners, etc. so I thought I'd let folks here know about it. The more team support the better. I told him I wanted to "announce" it on here and he said great. I told him it's a rough crowd from here so he'll get extra security on hand. 
I hope some of us can make it and I hope they have some big boats. Just a heads up for anyone interested.
