No. 4 Gopher Men’s Hockey
Minnesota (7-3-0) ranked fourth in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll and second in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll this week. St. Cloud State is the unanimous No. 1 team with a 7-0-0 record on the young season.

Previously: The Gophers won their fourth-straight sweeping a Big Ten series against Michigan State with a 4-0 victory last Saturday night.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold will head out to Ann Arbor this weekend to take on Michigan in yet another Big Ten showdown. Saturday’s game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT.

No. 5 Gopher Volleyball
Minnesota (23-2) remains the fifth-ranked team in the AVCA Division I Men’s Poll for yet another week as the top five is unchanged from a week ago. Big Ten foe Penn State holds the No. 1 ranking with 56 first-place votes.

Previously: The Gophers ran their winning streak to 11-straight matches and have not dropped a set in three-straight after sweeping both Maryland and Ohio State at Maturi Pavilion last weekend.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold head out on the road for their next four and will face Purdue and Indiana this Friday and Saturday in Big Ten play.

No. 6 Gopher Women’s Hockey
Minnesota (7-4-1) held steady at No. 6 in the USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll for another week. WCHA rival Wisconsin continues to hold the stop spot with 15 first-place votes.

Previously: The Gophers scored 11 goals en route to a WCHA series sweep of Minnesota State this past weekend.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold are on the road to Mercyhurst for a pair of non-conference matinee outings this weekend in Erie, Pa.

No. 6 Gopher Wrestling
Minnesota ranked sixth in the Preseason College NWCA/USA Today Rankings released last week. Penn State sits atop the rankings with 16 first-place votes.

Previously: The Gophers captured three individual titles last weekend at the Daktronics Open in Brookings, S.D.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold will host their first dual of the season this weekend Air Force lands at Maturi Pavilion.

No. 13 Gopher Women’s Cross Country
With the next poll to be released next week, Minnesota remains the 13th-ranked team in the nation according the USTFCCCA Division I Cross Country Rankings and tops in the Midwest ahead of this weekend’s Regional meet.

Previously: After a second-place finish at the Big Ten Championships a couple weeks ago, Minnesota competed at the 37th Annual Rocky’s Run at Les Bolstad Course last week.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold will travel down to Ames, Iowa for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday morning, beginning at 10:45 a.m.

No. 15 Gopher Men’s Basketball
Minnesota ranked no. 15 in the Preseason AP Top 25 Poll released last week. Duke held the top spot in the poll and 33 first-place votes.

Previously: The Gophers went undefeated in the exhibition season, defeating Concordia University, St. Paul 106-58 at Williams Arena and Green Bay 115-86 at Maturi Pavilion last week.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold host USC Upstate in the season opener on Friday night at Williams Arena. Opening tip is set for 7 p.m.

No. 15 Gopher Women’s Swimming & Diving
Minnesota moved up two spots in the latest TYR/CSCAA Division I Women’s Poll after an impressive weekend. Stanford continues to hold the top spot in the polls as it has throughout the young season.

Previously: The Gophers finished with a 2-1 record in their quad dual against No. 3 Michigan, No. 18 Wisconsin, and Penn State at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.

Up Next: The Maroon & Gold will host the Minnesota Diving invite this weekend at the Aquatic Center.
