They just offered the guy I linked below. His name is Jordy Tshimanga. A 2016 prep talent. Solid list of offers and a guy that is blowing up cause there is little to grab out there. He is a center. That would mean they have a freshman center with the two juniors balancing things out a bit.

They have also called on former Rochester JM center Ngor Barnaba who is at a juco in Missouri. I'm told Ngor has been a really solid pick and pop four man for them so take away "center" I guess. Is averaging 14.4 and 7.8 a game shooting 38 percent at the arc and taking about three treys in his 30 minutes a game. Here are his numbers. Keep in mind, they just called to hear about him. Doesn't mean much else will come but who knows, he was a mid-major prospect in high school and I haven't seen him in two years.

They of course have joined everybody in calling this guy Kalif Young but haven't heard much about him lately. I've heard that he is a guy that will take a couple years to help.

We also talked about Braian Angola-Rodas from the junior college in Idaho. His numbers are below. He is the mega athletic guy who was at Findlay Prep after coming here from Columbia. A guy that at one point people mentioned as a NBA guy.

There is also Niem Stevenson who the Gopher Hole said Minnesota was looking at. His numbers are below:

Gophers have also looked at Otero College who has a couple two-guards shooting a good percentage standing 6-foot-4. Jacob Holland was just offered by Tulsa. He and DJ Miles are the leading scorers. Numbers below.

They also watched Terrence Johnson who was a Pac 12 football recruit but wants to hoop so went juco at last minute and he is a frosh but going to a 4 year next year. Numbers below

So the question you are all wondering. "Why?" and "With what scholarship"
Well, pretty obvious that somebody is going to transfer. I don't like talking about candidates right now but I think we can all figure out who a couple obvious ones are.
And what do they want? I'm told a shooter that will help immediately and/or a big.
Shooter. Makes sense, they need one. If one of these jucos can do that next year they have to look at it.
Big. The new kid offered today. That would mean that they have a freshman center behind two juniors which is a positive if he is good enough. Then add another the next year and you have two going for the future. But...
What about 2017?
Maybe they don't care about 2017 and are all in for next year. But any scholarship used now takes away from 2017 locally and elsewhere. In this state alone you have at least 7 guys that will play high major and it's more likely to be 8 or 9 I think. Gary Trent Jr, Theo John, Goanar Mar, McKinley Wright, Brad Davison, Jericho Sims, Nate Ruevers. In my mind you have to have three scholarships for that group (or for the guys they are looking at out of state like Saben Lee, Terrell Turner, Darius Perry, etc).
If they do grab one of the guys above or others they have to be very sure on them. Too many quality 2017s right here to not have at least 2 scholarships for them, and I think you need 3 for them.
