Murphy was a target awhile back. He committed to VCU, but was granted a release from his LOI earlier today. Murphy is from Texas so it would make sense that he follows Shaka Smart to Texas, but I'm aware of their situation so who knows. Working to find out more.

VCU signee Jordan Murphy has reopened his recruitment, per AAU coach. UCLA, Indiana, Miami, Gonzaga, Minnesota, others already reached out.
