The Goper baseball team swept #25 Michigan on Friday afternoon 5-3 and 8-1 to improve to 4-1 in conference and in second place. They also are one of the teams considered for the top 25 this week. Gophers are now 4-2 on the season against ranked teams. (2-1 vs Missouri St, 2-0 vs Michigan, 0-1 vs Oregon St.) Both losses are by one run.
Dalton Sawyer allowed just two hits on Friday while striking out ten and was named Big Ten pitcher of the week.
