Sign that I am getting old as its hard to believe Pete Rose is 77 years old...Of course, earlier this year when I heard Roger Clemens was enjoying his time with his GRANDchildren, that was another indicator I am not getting any younger.......
Back to Pete Rose. A great baseball player.. So many of those other guys had off the field issues in the Hall of Fame, I still think it is a DIRT SHAME that he isnt in the Hall of Fame based on his merits... I am not justifying his off the field actions but some of those guys like Ty Cobb and others, had some shady pasts as well. One of the great baseball players when I was a kid and a player I would have all young baseball players watch and emulate to be the best they could be in the game.
