- There were changes from last year, took shots down field that we hadn't before. But offensive changes will come gradually.
- Jonah Pirsig got called out in our team meeting for his great play. OL played well.
- "There have been a couple times in practice when snaps have come in hot."
- Didn't think Tyler Johnson would play this year because of how raw he was. Has grown a lot.
- Thought the offensive line did really well against Oregon State but have to clean up some technique stuff and better understand assignments
- The Gophers now have a trophy for pancake blocks. The lineman that gets the most gets their name on the cup. The cup was Bart Miller's idea.
- Thought Calhoun and Wright played well.
- Thought the targeting calls were fair and thinks the refs do their best. He appreciated how they explained the games.
- Impressed and surprised with Devers' play and development
- Carter Coughlin has a chance to play this week if he has a good week of practice.
- Eric Carter has been cleared and will play.
- Times when Poock plays out of control. He's always energetic.
- Hope to have an update on Lingen this afternoon.
- Seemed unaware of the lineman's trophy
- Still will probably be out four weeks, but redshirting is not an option.
- Taiyon Devers came in at 180 pounds. (That's not true, though. He may have left high school for his prep around 180, but he didn't arrive on campus at 180.)
- On the offense opening up more: "I guess we'll see. That's what he was hired for. That's (Johnson's) job."
