I know Minnesota is to hockey what Ohio, Florida, and Texas are to football..... But with North Dakota winning the national championship and us not even making the tournament, ARE WE RECRUITING THE RIGHT PLAYERS FROM INSTATE?? Is it a strategy thing or playing style?? I saw we still won the Big Ten but are we a victim of our previous success in that expectations are too high??
You have to be a bit patient with me as I dont know much about hockey, even though I was born in Minnesota.. I understand scoring goals, defending the net, offsides, icing, the blueline but that is about it.. I know its embarrassing that is all I know but I would like your opinion on whether we are getting the best Minnesota kids for a good team or is there a style/strategic problem?? Or are expectations way too high??
