my goodness do I like ALL of our committed players, not only as footballers, but also as men. Coupled with the MANY quality lettermen already on the team, it's gonna be impossible to not feel some pride while watching our squad take the field next year.
I know all of us want to have a dream recruit class that's Top 10 someday (maybe it'll happen eventually), but I'll take a Top 30/35 class of Grade A, top notch people that also happen to excel on the field as well. While they all may not have individual, NFL Scout-drooling attributes, I firmly believe a cohesive group of excellent players that develop together and are on the same page (dare I say row the boat together), can take us to heights I've never seen in my lifetime.
When it's Dec. 20, and all the ink is dried with everyone who is currently committed firmly on board, this Gopher fan will be ecstatic knowing that I can cheer not only for the excellent play on the field, but excellent men serving our community off it.
