And especially if you grew up in Minnesota, you have to read StingRay Afternoons, the great book by Steve Rushin. Got it for Christmas and read it in about 4 days. Fantastic memoir of growing up in the 70’s. If you don’t know Rushin, he grew up in Bloomington and became a writer for SI. The book is hilarious but also quite poignant. Can’t rec it enough. If you read it let me know what you think. Fun fact: he’s married to Rebecca Lobo; they have a pretty good podcast called Ball & Chain.
